IEEE CSS Italy Chapter Best Young Author Journal Paper Award

The IEEE Control Systems Society Italy Chapter recognizes distinguished papers by young researchers in the field of control systems through presentation of an Award for the Best Young Author Journal Paper for papers published in the past calendar year preceding the announcement of the award on the following Society Journals: Control Systems Magazine; Transactions on Automatic Control; Transactions on Control Systems Technology; Transactions on Control of Network Systems, Control Systems Letters.

The Award consists in a Certificate and one prize of 500.00 Euro (gross amount before taxes) to the author of the Best Paper who has the requisites indicated below.

Only authors with the following requisites are eligible for the award:

  • be a Member of IEEE Control Systems Society Italian Chapter at the time the paper was submitted (in the printed paper the status of being an IEEE member shall appear);
  • be less than 35 years old at the time the paper was submitted
  • be one of the authors of the paper.

The paper proposes a novel iterative scheme for the solution of mixed-integer cooperative optimization problems, which extends the existing approaches to a distributed set-up with a time-varying communication network, so encompassing more realistic scenarios in optimal resource sharing problems.
